I’m not sure I know too many women who haven’t had a massive crush on at least one pair of Louboutin heels. There’s just something about those super sexy 5″ heels and that unmistakeable signature red sole… so crush worthy.
Without a doubt, Louboutin = Luxury (yes, with a capital L). The craftsmanship is impeccable and every pair is like a little piece of art. Absolute shoe perfection. Now I know every girl can’t run out and buy a $795 (or even $2,400!) pair of shoes but we can all dream… and drool.
For those brides whose wedding budget can allow such a lovely splurge, a pair of Louboutin heels can take just about any dress to the next level.
The fabulous, feathered “Rosazissimo” heels (above) and the stylish “Bow T Dorcet” (shown below) have been particularly popular with brides this year.

Here’s a little roundup from the 2009 collection, available at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Barneys. You can also try online stores like ShopStyle or BlueFly which carry some styles at reduced prices.
Last but not least, a glimpse of the genius himself, Monsieur Christian Louboutin:
If you care to read more about him, check out this article. There’s also a great little video interview on the Neiman Marcus site (click on the link in the left column) where you can see his lovely creations in action. This is a man who knows the way to a woman’s heart (or at least her closet)!
